Sub cuticular Closure of supra pubic transverse incision

This is what i prefer to do . i use a 0 prolene to close the supra pubic incision . Please note that this is not pfennensteil . Pfennensteil would be within the hair line . This is slightly above it as practically in India in hot conditions it gives a better healing . Patient also feels better although it will not be as invisible as pfannensteil but the comfort is better . But i am still working on it .. In obese abdomen i prefer to give even a higher than this incision so that the sweat which gets collected in the crease line does not interfere with wound healing.
