Face to pubes delivery

In case of persistent occipito posterior presentations there is face to pubes delivery or worse obstructed labour . This lady was referred to our hospital as obstructed labour and she was very much scared as she had been travelling from peripheral hospitals . She took some time to compose herself . It was a difficult delivery as i had difficulty in comforting the mother . The first step in delivering a baby should always be to get mother's cooperation . it might sound very strange to the western population but in india due to certain reasons the mothers are not aware of how to deal with the labour pains and sometimes it is only when they are in active labour that they are first coming to a doctor . and once someone is in pain its very difficult tp describe physiology tpo them , . nevertheless now both mom and kid are fine and happy
